Ocean ‘dead zones’ increasing fast

In marine biology terms, ‘dead zones’ are oxygen-deficient coastal areas.  When there’s no oxygen, fish and other aquatic life cannot survive.

Sadly, the number of dead zones is rapidly increasing around the world.

Red Tide turns seawater red due to algae.  The Bible mentions in the Book of Revelation that waters will turn red (blood) in the End Times.  Could red tide in fact be the substance to which Revelation terms “blood”?

Red Tide May Be Increasing

The United Press International reported on March 31, 2006, that U.S. experts have found increasing amounts of single-cell algae which kills fish and turns the waters red, aptly named Red Tide, over the past 15 years.
