Floods in Northeast Threaten Dams, Homes

Associated Press writer, Ken Maguire, reported today that New England residents were coping with another day–now the fifth–of rain Tuesday.

Experiencing the worst flooding in nearly 70 years, residents worry about the region’s dams, which struggle to hold against cresting rivers.  Meanwhile, evacuees wondered about the condition of their homes as water flooded basements and enveloped some rooftops.

Could such flooding be tied to the End Times?

“It seemed almost Biblical,” Gov. Mitt Romney said Tuesday on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” “We’re sort of making jokes about Noah and taking two of each kind of animal because we haven’t ever seen rain like this.”
